Aqua Designs Bermuda

Nicola Lucas (Molloy) is an award-winning fashion designer with over 30 years of industry experience.

After relocating to Bermuda from New Zealand in 1997, Nicola built a successful fashion career while raising three children.

Her impressive resume includes roles in pattern-making and computer-aided design at renowned fashion houses, including Nicole Farhi and French Connection in London, as well as Classic Fashion in Auckland, New Zealand. Known for her meticulous attention to detail and distinctive style, Nicola designs all the fabrics used in her collections.

Originally launching her label, Aqua Designs, in Bermuda with custom-made wedding and evening dresses, Nicola later shifted her focus to children's clothing after the birth of her second child.

Her brand has since grown to meet the demand for high-quality clothing and accessories. Each garment is carefully designed and tested in her Southampton, Bermuda, workroom, reflecting her commitment to superior craftsmanship and quality.

In addition to her children's line, Nicola’s womenswear collection is thoughtfully designed to empower women, helping them feel comfortable and confident in the clothes they wear.

Nicola continues to lead the creative direction of Aqua Designs, producing collections that are both timeless and innovative while balancing her role as a busy mother of three.
